Of Weddings and Knitting
Our wedding was two years ago yesterday and while that might not seem oh so long, it has been a very full two years. The hub and I dated for what seems like forever (5 years) beginning in high school. It was one of those relationships that everyone was just waiting for us to get engaged. No one was suprised when we did but everyone was excited.
The actual wedding day was spectacular. It thunderstormed the night before but the morning dawned beautiful. We had a morning ceremony (fun, but I had to get up way too early). Everyone I love was there. It's funny looking at how skinny I was then! Crazy what a really busy schedule will do to your ability to eat well!
Being married has turned out wonderfully for me. My husband is my partner and my best friend, truly the love of my life. These past two years have been one up after another down with various problems, opportunities, and frustrations. Most of all though, we have had joy and laughter together. I wouldn't trade him for the world.
Now that the sappy stuff is over with :) I'll flash some knitting! (see next post down)
