- I am a follower of Jesus Christ.
- I was supposed to be named after my great grandfather, but my dad changed his mind right after I was born.
- I was born in a hospital with a stork on the roof.
- I am the oldest of two girls.
- I live in Chicagoland currently, but have lived all over the country.
- I have lived in 7 states and 2 countries.
- I lived in Bermuda for 2 years.
- People always thought my sister and I were twins growing up. Now we don’t look anything alike.
- My husband and I are high school sweet hearts. He was my only boyfriend.
- I am older than him by 6 months.
- He designed my engagement ring.
- We have no pets but want a puppy real bad.
- I used to have a horse.
- My mom has a dog that is as big as a horse (practically).
- My first pet was a hamster.
- It bit my mom.
- It got thrown over the hill behind our house.
- I will never own another hamster.
- I love diet coke. I mean LOVE it.
- I started knitting about 1 year ago.

- I want to start designing when I get better at the basics.
- I am very persnickety (hence the blog name) about my yarn choices.
- I’m more or less a fabric/fiber snob.
- I started school as pre-med.
- Then I switched to psychology.
- I am now in grad school for school psychology.
- Working with kids has been an ambition of mine for years and years.
- I love to travel (especially on missions trips).
- I spent 2 weeks in England in high school riding horses.
- Did I mention that I used to be a rider?
- Used to in the sense that I rode my whole life but haven’t been able to ride since high school.
- I spent 1 month in China in college.
- I love Chinese culture.
- I have the Chinese symbol for love tattooed on my back.
- Chinese history (especially the history of Chinese women) fascinates me.
- I make an angry foot at my husband when he bugs me.
- Don’t ask.
- Or maybe do, it’s kind of funny.
- I have a hypo-thyroid.
- That means I’m always cold.
- My belly button is pierced.
- I am addicted to lip gloss.
- My favorite show is Gilmore Girls.
- I’ve seen every episode at least 3 times.
- I also love Lost, House, CSIs, Numbers, 24 and Monk.
- I am 24.
- I love Nordstroms.
- I really love Anthropologie but only buy things there on sale.
- I got married on June 12, 2004.
- I graduated college in 3.5 years.
- I love watching movies.
- My husband loves watching movies even more than me.
- We want a HUGE dvd collection someday.
- I love the Beatles, but I really love their songs covered by other people better.
- I know French
- I used to know French a whole lot better, but translating Phildar helps.
- I adore reading.
- I never have enough time to read all I want and have a to-read list about a mile long.
- I’m very excited to have kids.

- I love all kinds of music and have very eclectic tastes.
- My favorite kind of food is Italian.
- Sometimes I wish I was Italian.
- I do really wish I had stronger cultural ties to my past.
- I am part Cherokee Indian (or Native American).
- I love cheesy made for TV movies.
- I am always losing my cell phone and my keys.
- I love to laugh.
