The Fall Head Cold

I enjoy the consistancy of my immune system. It flat out refuses to work. Every year about this time I am bombarded with a runny nose, fat feeling head, and fuzzy brain. It's delightful. That being said, I really have not done anything since finished up that argyle craziness. Thank you all so much for your wonderful compliments, I really am quite pleased with how it turned out. I am already planning outfits for the fall and winter centered around the vest. More knitting ideas/content/photos to come. I'm swatching for several things right now as well as working on something that's all my own creation.

My hub and I visited Niagara this weekend. Neither of us had ever been but since we happened to be in the area we figured, why not? So we spent the whole day in Canada taking in the sights. If you've never been, go! The photographs of the falls just do not do them justice. It's an amazing display of power. To really get the flavor, it's vital (if not sort of cheesy) to do Maid of the Mist. The boats take you right up close and personal to the monstorous falls. We also spent a lot of time in Niagara on the Lake, a ridiculously quaint little town in the center of wine country. The vineyards/wineries in the surrounding area are beautiful and oh so much fun to visit. We had a blast going from one to the other, tasting, oogling, and learning about the process. I would have to say that it's a highly recommended day trip.

Sounds like you had a ton of fun in Niagra! I think the last I went there was in 8th grade... probably a good 12 years ago!
