Hello, my name is Sarah...
...and I'm addicted to yarn.
I feel like I'm in yarn AA. I joined these stash reduction KALs...
and
(Cotton meaning that my stash is at least stable)
...which I had mentioned before, but now I have pictures!
Here is a picture of the stash, which usually resides in my closet in a large box. There are more pieces to this, but most of that yarn is attached to the 6 projects I have on the needes.

Click picture for details on Flickr about what each yarn is for (that feature is way too much fun!)
The good news is that I'm actually working my way through some of this stash! Salina is on her way to becoming a FO. And wow, does Debbie Bliss Merino DK STANK when wet. My entire living room smells like a dirty dirty sheep. The good thing is that I have a massive bowl of potpourri also residing in my living as well, so the smells sort of cancel each other out. Sort of. Apparently I didn't swatch for this project (stupid!) and thus was not prepared for the smell or the fact that when wet the sweater pieces stretch out to giant size. It's much easier stretching a knit to the right size than patting, shaping, smooshing, and otherwise cajoling it into the proper, smaller proportions. It worked though and now I only have about 1/4 left of the second sleeve, cuffs, and collar left until I have another sweater! Good thing it's now 90 degrees outside, because when isn't summer the best time for wearing a creamy merino long sleeved sweater? That's ok, it will be like I have new clothes come fall. Speaking of new clothes, the Gap is having an amazingly awesome sale right now. If you like the gap at all, we're talking $6 t-shirts and $10-20 bags.

More projects in process
I am currently in the process of moving. We have all our stuff in the new place but most of it is still in boxes. I did, however, get all my knitting nonsense organized. I am currently working on about 7 different projects. That seems just ridiculous to me! So being the kind of person that would promptly start up another project, I put everything but the 2 I really want to finish soon (the baby pants and Orangina) in a giant box in the closet. Let's just hope my will power holds out and I can leave it there! Orangina is close to being finished. I've done both panels and am working on the ribbing. I am really just crossing my fingers that it looks/fits ok. I've seen several finished ones around and a lot of people just aren't happy with how they turn out. Here's hoping! (sorry no picture, the camera batteries have died from sitting in boxes for the last 3 weeks)
I've also made great progress on Salina, which is in the closet. I thought I'd flash a picture of the front that's almost done. Just have the sleeves to go now!
In blog designing news...does anyone know how to create those java script pop up windows to show pictures? I've been playing around with scripts I found on the web all morning but just can't seem to get anything to work! If anyone knows...help!
